For the safety and respect of animal participants, animal meet and greet time is limited and closely monitored. Campers will have multiple opportunities to interact with various animals. This is primarily an educational program. While campers will get to interact with animals, they will not spend most of their time caring for or playing with animals.

Each day varies depending on which animals and guest presenters will be visiting camp. Typical activities include animal themed games, enrichment crafts, and guest presenters. Pending weather, campers will spend time outdoors.

St. Hubert’s is seeking high school students, ages 15+, to join our team as volunteer counselors. Qualifications include prior experience working with kids and an enthusiastic, outgoing personality!  Duties include supervising and engaging campers during educational presentations, leading games, assisting with crafts, set up & clean up duties before & after camp each day, and ensuring a fun camp experience! This is not an animal handling task.

To run our camps efficiently, we repeat activities for each grade level from week to week. In addition, many of our camps fill up, and we'd like to reach as many children as possible. For these reasons, we limit each child to attending once each summer.

For summer camp, please register your child for the grade they will be entering in the fall. Camp activities are tailored to grade levels. Making exceptions to our grade level groupings poses challenges for campers and staff. To maintain the best camp experience for everyone, we do not make exceptions to the camp grade levels.

Groups are shuffled regularly to encourage interaction with new kids throughout the week. Campers who attend with friends will have plenty of opportunities to be together, but we cannot guarantee they will participate in every activity together.

A full refund minus a $25 processing fee will be issued provided the cancellation is given in writing 7 days prior to the start of the camp session. No refunds will be given for late arrivals, early departures or absences.
