Enjoyable Leash Walking

Enjoyable Leash Walking…It's a Walk - Not a Drag!

Are you tired of being dragged down the street? Have you stopped walking your dog as a result? Learn a few new tricks to help make nightly walks more enjoyable.

This 3-week workshop will focus on your dog’s attention with real-life distractions.

The workshop includes group walks around our shelter campus, and will be held in and outdoors (weather permitting).  

Prerequisite: Dog must be 5 months or older and currently enrolled or completed Basic training .

This 3-week one hour class is limited to 6 students. Fee $135.00.

Puppy Socials/Learn about Puppy Play

This in-person 45-minute social session will help you understand and learn your puppy’s play style and body language while interacting in a socially controlled environment with other puppies. 

The class will have intermittent play sessions with time to ask the trainer questions.  You attend the class with your puppy. 

This class is a supplemental class and is meant to be taken along with puppy kindergarten or can be taken while you wait for your puppy class to begin. Fee $30.00

PLEASE NOTE: YOU CAN REGISTER FOR MULTIPLE SESSIONS.

This class is open to puppies ages 8 weeks to 18 weeks (4.5 months) old.


VIRTUAL TRAINING

Single-Session LIVE Virtual Workshops

Is your puppy learning good habits? Does your dog always make good decisions? Would you like to check in with a trainer to make sure that you are on the right track? Maybe even have the whole family listen and learn? We want to make it easy for you!

We are offering 45 minute virtual group sessions via Zoom at the special price of $20 to $30 per session!!!

  • This 1-hour workshop is to help answer the questions you may have specific to your dog’s puppy/ basic training issues.

    This is for Puppy/ Basic training problem solving only. 

    Please note: this is not intended for significant behavior/aggression or fear issues.

    Limit to 8 students.

    No dogs--- people only.

  • Do you have a new puppy that needs house training or a newly adopted dog or a dog that is having “accidents” once in a while?

    This session give you guidelines and training tools to get your dog “going” outdoors and NOT on your carpets!

  • Is your puppy/dog nipping and biting ? Is your puppy using you as their chew toy?

    This workshop will give you the training techniques and guidelines on how to teach your puppy how to have a soft mouth.
