Margaret MacEwen, CPDT-KA
Margaret has been with St. Hubert’s for 11 years and is certified through the Certification Council of Professional Dog Trainers (CPDT-KA).
Her key advice for new pet owners is to remember, your dog was born a dog and only knows how to be a dog. They are not being bad, they are not misbehaving. They are doing what comes naturally for a dog. We need to train our dogs if we expect them to behave like a pet.
Margaret shares her life with 3 wonderful dogs Crew, Jersey, and Cloud.

Debra Witt, CPDT-KA
Debra has been with St. Hubert’s since 2010, holds the CPDT-KA certification from the Certification Council of Professional Dog Trainers, and is a member of the Association of Professional Dog Trainers (APDT).
Her favorite subjects to teach are loose leash walking and emergency recall ("here" or "come") because those skills help improve the quality of life for both the dogs and their owners, making walks enjoyable rather than frustrating.
Her key advice to all her students is to be patient, be consistent, have realistic expectations, and don't forget to have a good sense of humor.
In her free time, Debra and her family enjoy spending time at the shore with their Labrador Retriever, Eddie, who loves to swim and give kisses.
