FIELD TRIPS FOR DOGS
Take a Dog Out for the Day
Have an hour, or two or three?
We've got just the thing to add some sunshine to your day while making a furry friend smile brighter!
Field trips are like mini adventures that work wonders for shelter pets. Not only do they give these lovable pups a break from the daily routine, but the photos you snap and the feedback you provide can speed up their journey to finding loving homes.
Imagine spending your lunch break with a wagging tail by your side, catching up on your favorite TV show together, taking a leisurely stroll in the park, or even hitting the road for a spontaneous car ride! The sky's the limit, as long as you ensure your furry companion is safe and happy throughout your adventure.
So, what are you waiting for? Let's make memories and spread some joy, one tail wag at a time!
Field trips are scheduled 2 weeks at a time (sorry, our scheduling system has limitations). If you have any questions, please email us at fieldtrips@sthuberts.org.
We appreciate your prompt arrival for a field trip. Our staff may not be able to accommodate late arrivals.

Please Note:
For the safety of our dogs and to ensure a good experience by all:
Dogs can only be walked by adults 18 and over and leashes must be held securely at all times. Please NEVER allow the dog to be off-leash when walking.
DO NOT allow other dogs to interact with our shelter pet, it is best for you to keep your own dog at home.
Dog must remain in harness and collar at all times.
If the dog is brought to your home, he/she must NEVER be left unattended with children.
Dog must be kept hydrated, particularly if weather exceeds 70°. We can supply a portable water bowl; please bring water with you!
We encourage you to take lots of photos of you with the dog and share on social media to help the pet get adopted!
Thank you for your interest in field trips!
