PET LOSS SUPPORT GROUP
COMPASSION. SUPPORT. GUIDANCE.
Virtual pet loss support group sessions are offered twice monthly.
Moving to online sessions makes it easy for anyone to attend, whether you are near or far. Group sessions take place on the first Tuesday of each month at 7 PM and on the third Sunday of each month at 11 AM. Sessions are 90 minutes in duration and participation is limited to 20 individuals per session. Registration is required and we ask a minimum donation of $5 per session when you sign up to attend. Once registered you will receive a confirmation email and the group facilitator will email the link you’ll need to enter the group via Zoom at least two hours prior to the start of your session.
The death of a beloved pet, the difficult decision of euthanasia, the daily reality that your companion is no longer around are the heartaches faced as a pet guardian/owner. While it may feel like no one who truly understands the feelings of sadness and emptiness you are experiencing, we assure you that St. Hubert’s does.
St. Hubert’s has offered group support sessions for 30 years, providing an understanding environment to openly share your feelings or grief. All sessions will continue to be facilitated by professional counselor Judith D. Bess, LCSW-R.
If you have any questions please call 973-377-7094 during normal business hours or email frontdesk@sthuberts.org. To arrange for private sessions please call Judith D. Bess at 973-454-0728. PLEASE NOTE: There is a fee for private sessions, which are offered directly and are not a part of St. Hubert’s activity.
