Puppy & Beginner Classes

Puppy Kindergarten

  • This is the best way to get your pup started on the right track!

    Your dog will learn basic commands and you’ll receive tips on house training, household manners, puppy mouthing and more.  

  • Length: 6 Weeks

    Duration: 1-hour

Basic Training: Part One

  • The Basic classes are best taken as a package to continue reinforcing learned behaviors.

    Whether your pet is a beginner or has taken some prior training, they will benefit from learning to leave dangerous objects, to come immediately in an emergency, and to better pay attention to you.

    You’ll also learn how to understand dog body language, and to communicate with your dog in a way that is effective.  

  • Length: 6 Weeks

    Duration: 1-hour

Drop off Training

  • This a 3 Hour Session that works on general Basic training issues.

  • Drop Off Time: 11:00AM

    ** For First time attendees, drop off your dog between 10:30-11:00am

    Pick Up Time: between 2:00-2:30pm

    PLEASE NOTE: All dogs must have their age-appropriate vaccinations (distemper and parvo) to participate in class. Proof of vaccinations required Rabies, Distemper. Bordetella- Kennel Cough is recommended.

    We need 48 hours’ notice of cancellation. Failure to notify within 48 hours will result in a $50 admin fee .

Basic Training: Part Two

  • An extension to Basic Training 1, this course continues to work on your dog’s reliability, even in distracting environments.

    Imagine leaving your dog in a stay command while you carry packages inside or teaching your dog to stop instantly if they’re running towards the road.

    Yes, this is achievable, and we will help get you there.  

  • Length: 6 Weeks

    Duration: 1-hour

Puppy Social PlayGroup

  • Understand and learn your puppy’s play style and body language while interacting in a socially controlled environment with other puppies.

  • Course Length: 45 minute single session

    Age: Eight weeks to 18 weeks (or 4.5 months) when the course begins.

Private Training

  • We have 1-hour In-Person and In-Home sessions available, as well as virtual consultations.

  • Duration: 1-hour or 1.5 hour sessions

Advanced Classes

Advanced Basic Training

  • This class expands upon basic cues such as coming when called and “wait,” but it takes them to a higher level.

    You will learn emergency cues and new behaviors that are geared to be effective even if your dog gets loose.

    Stopping your dog if he is running away from you, signaling your dog to go into a down from a distance, and asking your dog to come to you while ignoring distractions are just a few of the skills that you will learn in this class.

    Preparing for safety in the real world is emphasized.

  • Course Length: One hour a week for eight weeks

    Age: Dogs five months and older

    Price: $289

    Pre-Requisites: Must have completed both Basic Part 1 and Basic Part 2.

Great Outdoors

  • If your dog listens well indoors but struggles outside, this outdoor class will help build reliability in real-life environments.

    This is an outdoor class on our expansive 13-acre property, in safe, fenced areas, and is limited to 6 dogs.

    Perfect for dogs that have completed Advanced Safety Training. 

  • Length: 6 Weeks

    Duration: 1-hour

Pet Therapy

  • This class is designed to learn skills, expose your dog to various medical equipment e.g., wheelchair, walker and crutches. To help gain the knowledge necessary to become a Therapy Dog team. The course will review the various certification tests.

    Handler must be 18 years or older .

    This course is limited to 6 dogs and open to any dog that has completed the Basic part 2 or Advanced course.

    Please note this class does not certify you as a therapy team. This is strictly a preparatory class.

  • Course Length: 4-weeks

    Age: Dogs 10 months or older

    Price: $189

    Pre-Requisites: Must have completed Basic Part 2 or Advanced Training or equivalent training.

Rally

  • Rally is a fun, interactive dog sport where you and your pet complete a series of obedience tasks, building teamwork and communication.

    Whether you’re a beginner or more competitive, Rally offers a stimulating way to bond with your dog as you work through an instructor designed training course at your own pace. This is the ultimate dog’s day out!

    Duration: 1-hour

Nosework

  • Tap into your dog’s instinct to search and find with this exciting class. This is an amazing way to exercise your dog’s mind and tire them out without high impact exercise.

    No special equipment is needed to practice at home. Come and see how incredible your dog’s nose is by allowing them to experience this fascinating class.  

Agility

  • Rally is a fun, interactive dog sport where you and your pet complete a series of obedience tasks, building teamwork and communication.

    Whether you’re a beginner or more competitive, Rally offers a stimulating way to bond with your dog as you work through an instructor designed training course at your own pace. This is the ultimate dog’s day out!

Feisty Fidos™ Level 1

  • Does your dog make a scene when they see another dog?

    Whether your dog dislikes the company of other dogs or is frustrated on-leash and wants to play, we can teach you how to reduce outbursts and achieve walks without drama.

    Learn to read your dog’s body language like a pro, and master techniques that will put you in control of walks again.

    We will show you how to change your dog’s behavior by encouraging better choices and by becoming more relaxed on walks.

Feisty Fidos™ Level 2

  • Held outdoors this class continues your learning in real-life environments. 

    Keep your Feisty Fidos Level 1 skills sharp and build new skills by practicing alongside other dog parents that understand what you’re going through.

    Reactive dogs deserve a day out too! Practice weekly with us in a variety of outdoor environments in all seasons.
