1. Lay 4 strips of material on top of each other and tie a strong knot in one end. Trim knotted ends so they are even and tidy.

2. Place the knot between your knees. Spread the pieces of fabric into a cross pattern.

3. Make a square knot by following the pictures below.

4. Continue until all material has been knotted.
