Rally

Rally is a dog sport that offers handlers and their pets an experience that is both fun and stimulating. . The dog/handler team move at their own pace, throughout a course of signs displaying obedience exercises to be completed. It was originally developed for the traditional pet owner, however, due to the fact that there are many levels, it can also be challenging for those who are more competitive.

A rally course includes 10-20 stations, each displaying a certain task to be performed, such as sit-down-sit, Figure 8, Send over jump, etc. Owners are encouraged to communicate with the dog throughout the performance, unlike that of traditional obedience competitions. There should be a sense of teamwork between dog and handler.

At St. Hubert's Training and Behavior Center, you can start enjoying rally with your dog. Our classes are mainly intended for fun and exercise; however, you will be prepared if you wish to eventually compete with your dog for titles in competitions.
