Maximizing life-saving programs and adoptions partnerships for animals in need.

The Zephyr is our new, 26-foot custom-designed transport vehicle, which allows us to maximize our life-saving programs and adoption opportunities for animals in need. With space for over 30 pets to travel in climate-controlled comfort, The Zephyr allows us to partner with shelters not only regionally, but also through long-distance transfers so that pets can relocate to shelters where they have a greater chance of being adopted, based on differing community demands across NJ and across the country. Our experienced staff ensure that pets on board The Zephyr receive the best care and have a safe, happy journey. 

In addition to its transport runs, our new vehicle will also serve in disaster relief efforts, ready to respond quickly to both local emergencies and those at a distance. The Zephyr will be deployed to assist pets who have been displaced from their homes and provide comfort and support to pets and pet parents alike.

The Zephyr is an exciting new component of our outreach program, enabling us to form stronger and more frequent partnerships with fellow shelters, expand our reach, and help more pets find their new homes.
